With this Count the Room activity, kindergarteners will practice comparing numbers to 5, which is an important skill in order to develop strong number sense. Then laminate and put the cards in a basket with some clothespins for a practice and self-check math center. This no-prep set of greater than less than comparing numbers activity is an easy-to-use tool for small groups, centers, busy boxes, RTI or during guided math. Next, mark the backs of the cards with a dot or a sticker behind the correct answer on the front.
